An Afternoon at Mt Stromlo Observatory

These two are just too cute!
In January I put out a call for some models to help me with an idea I had, and the lovely B & S reached out to say they were HAPPY to help. This isn't my first session with these two - and it wont be my last.
They were real champs - even though it was unseasonably cold for January in Canberra, they took off their coats and put on these gorgeous dresses - their own choices, I had nothing to do with it - and frolicked with me at Mt Stromlo Observatory.
This location is a favourite of mine, it has a bit of everything. In Summer we had these beautiful purple flowers, lots of green grass, and bushes, as well the observatory ruins. It feels like multiple spots in one, which is the best for an engagement session, it means you really get a lot of photos that feel unique.
I really love how these photos turned out, the pops of colour from their outfits, the lush green, and the contrast with the ruins.
Im so excited to get to capture these two again next year for their wedding. It will be a great one!
